Not seeing friends#95

For whatever reason when I loaded Nomad Near Me on my new phone (iPhone 13) I can no longer see my friends. How do I resolve this? I have already tried to reload it.

And how many friends are in your friends list?

I only have small handful of friends, including your family. None of which show up. But, if I search and select a friend, it shows up with a friend marker.

There was no issue until I put the app on my new iPhone 13. Not sure if it’s a related imthing or not.

You mentioned reloading the app. Did you fully delete the app and reinstall it?

My Developer sent me this (His name is David and he is in Nebraska):

A) have him delete the app and reinstall

B) have him accept my friend request and see if he sees me.

Evening. I did delete the app from my phone. It has since been reinstalled (and I went PRO, 😁) before messaging you about the issue. I was hoping it would have cleared with the pro addition. Still in the same boat. I accepted David’s invite and can see him. Still can’t see anyone else on the map. Does it not show others if they haven’t updated a location in a while?

If your friends have turned off automatic updating and they have not manually checked in, they no longer show in the map until they check in. I can’t remember the exact time frame, but it is somewhere in the 13-30 day range of not checking in.

We felt like this was the lesser evil compared to inaccurate locations showing up for friends.

Are you friends with me? (Nathan Moss). If so, I should show in the map since I know I am allowing background GPS tracking.

We are friends. I can see your location in Alaska. How cold is it there? Yikes! Anyhoo, I can also see David as well. He and I talked. We can’t quite see why this issue occurred. I have resent invites to missing parties. For now that’s what I’ll work with and go from there. Thanks or your help with this. It’s appreciated. May GOD light your path. Stay safe!
